Impact Creative Arts And Crafts is up on the first floor in Thycadu. We are located right near the Sastha Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our windows during the day. It’s a nice, calm area to work in. The office is filled with all sorts of materials and half-finished projects. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with scraps of things everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workshop where we spend our time. Thycadu is a good neighborhood, and being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street. We’ve been here for a bit and we know most of the people who walk by every day. We don't go in for big marketing or anything. We just do the work and let people see it. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying a lot of stuff, but we’re used to it. The light in the afternoons is really good for seeing what we’re doing. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea and coffee. It’s a pretty relaxed place to be. We aren’t a big company with lots of rules. It’s just a few of us making things and trying to keep the place running. It feels like home after all this time working in Thycadu.
