Gramasangham Social Welfare Foundation

Gramasangham Social Welfare Foundation is located at 751-A/09 in Muttathiparambu. It’s a quiet part of the Kannankara area. We’ve been set up here for a while now, focusing on the social welfare side of things. It’s not a large organization with a lot of hierarchy. Mostly it’s just us working out of this space to help people nearby. We know the people in the village and they know where to find us when they need a bit of support or information. The building is simple and we keep things pretty basic inside. We don’t see the point in spending money on fancy furniture when there is work to be done. Our days usually start early with a lot of coffee and a list of things to get through. We deal with all sorts of local issues and try to find practical ways to help out. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. The office is usually cluttered with files and notes from our meetings. We like it that way because it shows we’re actually doing something. We aren't here to be famous or anything. We just want to make sure things in Muttathiparambu are moving in a good direction. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time without much complaining. Every week brings a different set of challenges but we just keep going. It’s how things get done around here.
