Gentle Homes Architects & Builders

We are located at No.E-38 in the PJRRA area, specifically on Pothujanam Lane in Kumarapuram. Gentle Homes Architects & Builders is a small operation. We handle both the design and the actual construction of houses here in Thiruvananthapuram. Our office is tucked away on a quieter lane, which is a nice change from the main road noise. We spend a lot of time sitting around a big table talking about floor plans and where to put windows. It’s a mix of creative work and very practical, muddy site visits. We have been in Kumarapuram for a good while, and most people in the lane know us by now. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone answering phones with a script. Usually, if the phone rings, it’s one of us picking it up while trying to look at a blueprint. Building a home is a long process and it can be stressful for the owners, so we try to just be straightforward about what can and can't be done. We’ve seen all sorts of issues, from rocky soil to late deliveries, but we just keep plugging away. It’s satisfying to see a house go from a sketch on a napkin to a real place where people live. We just do our best with every project and hope the walls stay straight and the roofs don't leak. It is a slow process but we enjoy it.
