G G Tours & Travels is located in the C K Building on Manorama Road. If you are coming from the main station at Thampanoor, it is just a short walk over. We are right across from Hotel Safa International, which is a good landmark if you get lost. Thampanoor is always moving, with buses and trains coming in at all hours of the day and night. Our office is right in the thick of that energy. The building is one of those sturdy old ones that has seen a lot of things happen on this street. It’s not very modern but it serves our purpose well enough. We have a couple of desks and a lot of maps and schedules lying around. People often drop in just to ask for directions because of where we are situated. We don’t mind it, as it’s part of being in a busy neighborhood like this. The air outside is always filled with the sound of horns and people talking. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone when a big bus goes by. Manorama Road is a bit of a shortcut for some people, so there is always something to look at out the window. We’ve been in this spot in Thiruvananthapuram for a good while and we know the rhythm of the place. It’s just us here, working through the daily tasks and making sure things stay on track. We don’t have any fancy lobby or anything, just a plain door that leads inside.
