Fine Loom Private Limited

Fine Loom Private Limited is based out of a place called Vanajas in Peringammala. It’s right there in the Kalliyoor area. We are a small group of people who focus on loom work. It is a very traditional kind of thing to do here in Kerala. The house number is 14/662 if you are ever looking for it. We don't have a big corporate sign or anything like that. It’s just where we work every day. The looms make a lot of noise, which is just part of the background of our lives now. We wake up, head to the workspace, and start the threads. It takes a lot of patience to get the patterns right. Some days the humidity makes the yarn act funny, so we have to adjust. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make stuff that looks okay and holds up well. My cousins and a few neighbors help out when we have a big order. It’s a tight space with all the equipment, but we make it work. We drink a lot of tea while we chat about what needs to be done next. There’s always dust from the cotton in the air. It’s a simple life. We don't have a website or anything fancy, just our address and our name. We focus on the weaving and hope the local shops keep buying from us.
