Fantastic Travels

Fantastic Travels is right at the Thiruvallam Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. The area code is 695027. If you know the junction, you know it is a place where many roads meet, so there is always a lot of movement and noise. Buses are stopping and starting, and people are always crossing the road to get to the different shops. Our office is tucked in there among the other local businesses. It is a busy spot to be in. We have a few desks and a bench where people can sit if they need to wait. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and things we need to keep track of our work. We do not spend much on making things look fancy because we are usually too busy talking to people or sorting out travel plans. The noise from the junction is something you just get used to after a week or two of working here. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the shop quite strongly, so we pull the shades down a bit to keep it cool. It is a practical place. We are not trying to impress anyone with big furniture or expensive stuff. We just stay open for the local people and anyone passing through the junction who needs help with a trip. Most of our day is spent balancing the phone calls with the people standing right in front of us.
