This office is tucked away at Darul Rahmathvallikode, which is part of the Nedumangad post office area. Our house number is 297 A, so it’s not too hard to find if you’re looking for it. We’ve been here for a while now, and the building has its quirks, like that one door that always sticks when it gets humid outside. It’s a medical corporation, though it’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day things and making sure all the records are in the right folders. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, except for the occasional motorbike zooming past or the sound of birds in the trees nearby. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains heavily, which happens a lot around here, so we end up doing things the old-fashioned way on paper until it comes back on. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just a regular space where we sit and get through our tasks. Most of the people who work here are from around this part of town, so we don't have to deal with long commutes. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat together in the small back room. It’s a simple setup at Eins & Erste, and we just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble or complicated stuff getting in the way of the work.
