E. Lakshmi Amma Health Care Foundation

E. Lakshmi Amma Health Care Foundation is located in Kuttikkol, which is part of Taliparamba in the Kannur district. We are right on Street No. 3. It’s a quiet place, away from the big city noise. Our office is a simple building where we manage health care foundation work. It’s not a hospital itself, but we handle the administrative side of things. Most of our day is spent talking to people from the local community and coordinating different tasks. We have a small team, and we all grew up around here or nearby. The office has basic desks and a few chairs for visitors. We don't use a lot of technology, just what is necessary to get the job done. Sometimes it gets really quiet on Street No. 3, especially in the afternoons when the sun is out. We just keep working through our lists and making sure everything is filed correctly. It’s a very modest setup, but it suits the kind of work we do. There are no fancy uniforms or corporate policies here. We just treat everyone like neighbors. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat together. It’s a simple life and a simple way to run a foundation. We’ve been in Kannur for a long time and we know how things work in this part of Kerala. We just do our bit every day and hope the rain doesn't get too heavy in the evenings.
