Dulhan Boutique

If you know the Kallattumukku area in Manacaud, you probably know where Dulhan Boutique is. We’ve been here for a while, right in the heart of the neighborhood. The name 'Dulhan' gives a hint that we do a lot of bridal and wedding wear, but we handle all sorts of stuff really. It’s a busy little shop. There’s always someone coming in with a piece of fabric they want turned into something special. Manacaud is a lively place to be, and our shop reflects that. We have racks of colorful clothes everywhere and usually a pile of stuff waiting to be picked up by the tailor. It’s not a perfectly polished place; it’s a working boutique. My family and I spend most of our time here. We know most of our customers by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls in the city. We like being the local spot where you can get your clothes done exactly how you want them. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when a whole family comes in for wedding fittings, but that’s the best part of the job. It feels like we are part of the community here at Kallattumukku. We don't use any fancy technology, just our hands and some old-fashioned sewing machines that have never let us down. It’s simple, honest work that we enjoy.
