Divya Prabha Eye Hospital

Our hospital is located on Kumarapuram Kannanmoola Road, right in the Kumarapuram area. If you know where the Medical College is, we are quite close to that in Padinjattil Lane. It’s a bit of a narrow lane, but that’s typical for this part of town. We’ve been seeing patients here for years, mostly people coming in for eye exams or surgeries. The waiting area has some old magazines and some sturdy chairs. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the eyes. The staff spends a lot of time helping people pick out frames or explaining how to use their drops. Outside, the traffic on the main road can be pretty loud, but it’s quieter once you get back into the lane where we are. We have a routine that works for us. I usually arrive early to open up the shutters and let some air in. The building has its quirks, like a door that squeaks if you don't pull it just right. We don't mind it much. It’s just part of being in an older neighborhood. People from the medical college often walk past or stop in. We keep a steady pace throughout the week. It’s just our little spot for eye care in the city. There is always a lot to do, from cleaning lenses to updating the patient records.
