Dbb Glocal Llp is over in the Ushasandhya Building. If you know the Kowdiar Devasom Board Road, you’ve probably passed us plenty of times without even realizing it. We are at TC 24/3088. It is not one of those shiny new buildings with glass walls and fancy lobbies. It’s just a normal, solid place where we come to work every morning. Most of us arrive around nine, depending on how bad the traffic is near the temple. Some days the road is completely blocked with some festival or procession, and we end up being late. No one really minds too much. The office itself is pretty simple. We have some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a corner where we keep the water cooler. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so we usually have the fans going full speed. There is a small tea shop nearby where we get our snacks. It’s a quiet life here mostly. We don’t have a big receptionist or any of that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes and opens it. We’ve been in this part of Kowdiar for a while now and we like the neighborhood. It feels steady and predictable. Sometimes we hear the birds in the trees outside or just the sound of scooters buzzing past on the road. It is just a regular place with regular people doing their jobs day by day.
