You can find Crossland Education Foundation over on Raghavan Pillai Road. Our address is a bit confusing because it has both the old and new numbers, 35/1265 and 49/1152. It’s at Puthethu Puthen Veedu. This is a local neighborhood where things move at a normal pace. Our office is basically a house that we use for the foundation’s activities. It doesn't feel like a cold corporate space; it feels like a home. We deal with education matters all day long, which means lots of books and documents are scattered around. We don't have a big sign out front or anything very flashy. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking for the house on Raghavan Pillai Road. The staff here is small, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. We make tea in the small kitchen and sit around the wooden table to discuss our plans. It’s a very down-to-earth way of working. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked cars, but usually, it’s a quiet spot. We like the fact that we aren't in a massive office tower. It makes the work feel more personal. We just handle the students and the courses as they come. It’s a steady job and we take it one day at a time without any fuss or fancy titles. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with our families.
