Chetanya Eye Hospital

Chetanya Eye Hospital is here in Kesavadasapuram. It's been around for quite some time now. We handle eye problems, mostly. People come in when they can't see the signs on the road or when their eyes feel itchy. It isn't a massive place, just a hospital where we focus on what's in front of us. The waiting room has these old chairs and sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise. We don't mind. The doctors spend their day looking through those big lenses at people's pupils. We get a lot of older folks from the neighborhood coming in for their cataracts. Kesavadasapuram is a busy spot, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. We don't have any fancy brochures. People mostly find us because their neighbor told them to come here. We keep a ledger of everyone who visits. It’s just a daily routine of checking vision and writing prescriptions for glasses. Sometimes we run out of the good frames and have to tell people to wait a week. It’s a simple way to run a business. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just the one people go to when their eyes hurt. There is a small tea shop nearby where staff goes on breaks. It’s a basic life here. We just make sure people can see a bit better when they leave than when they walked in.
