Black Boutique

We are located inside the Kaliveetil Mall in Amaravila. It’s called Black Boutique. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We moved into the mall because it’s where everyone in the area goes when they need to buy something or just walk around. Being in Amaravila is nice because you get to know the regulars who come in every weekend. The shop itself is mostly filled with black clothing, hence the name, though we do have other things too. It started out as a small idea among friends and eventually, we just decided to take a spot in the mall and see how it went. It’s been a learning process, for sure. We spend our mornings unpacking boxes and hanging things up. The mall can be a bit loud with the music and the crowds, but our little corner feels okay. We aren't some big international chain, just a local shop trying to offer something a bit different for the people around here. Sometimes we sit and talk about what styles are moving and what’s just sitting on the racks for too long. It’s practical work. We don't have a lot of staff, so you’ll usually see the same two or three of us behind the counter. If you’re ever walking through Kaliveetil Mall, you’ll probably see us rearranging the window display or just catching up on some work. It is a simple business.
