Bethlehem Lights

Our shop is at number 3 on the Karimbhuvila Bypass Road in Poonthura. It’s a good spot because the bypass is right there, making it easy for us to move things in and out. Poonthura is a local area with a lot of history, and we feel like part of the neighborhood. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the road. Inside, we have our lights and all the parts that go with them. It’s often a bit cluttered because we have so many different types of bulbs and fixtures around. We spend a lot of our time testing things and making sure everything is in order. It’s not a high-end showroom with carpets and soft music. It’s more of a place where work gets done. There are a few of us who have been here for years. We know the regulars who stop by. The bypass road can get quite loud with the buses and trucks, but we don't mind it much anymore. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when the weather is nice. We handle all the day-to-day business ourselves, from answering the phone to packing up orders. It’s a steady pace of work. We don't have any fancy titles; we just all chip in where needed. The place smells a bit like dust and electronics, which is just how we like it for our daily work.
