Bank

We are located at T.C. 28- 1502 on Thakaraparambu Road. The name on the door just says Bank, which sometimes confuses people, but we’ve been here at this address for a long time. It’s a busy street with lots of shops and people walking by. Our space is quite simple. We have a few counters and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s not one of those huge buildings with marble floors. We just have regular tiles and some old ceiling fans that hum all day. We handle a lot of paperwork and people coming in to talk about their accounts or whatever they need help with. It’s mostly local folks from the neighborhood who come in. We know many of them by their faces. The afternoon sun hits the front glass, so it can get pretty warm inside. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We do things the old-fashioned way mostly, with plenty of stamps and signatures. It can be a bit slow when the system is down, but we just chat with the customers until it’s back up. It’s a steady job. We open up at the same time every morning and close when the street lights come on. It’s just how we do things here on Thakaraparambu Road.
