Auto Spot

Auto Spot is situated in Ward No. 9, right near Carmel Polytechnic College. You can’t miss it if you’re heading towards the college. We’re usually surrounded by cars in various states of being fixed. The shop is always a bit greasy, but that’s how a garage should be. We’ve got tools scattered around, but we generally know where the 10mm wrench went. Most of our days are spent under hoods or tucked under chassis. It’s a lot of manual labor and figuring out why something is making a weird noise. We don’t have a waiting room with a TV or fancy coffee. Usually, people just stand around and chat while we take a look at their vehicle. Being near the polytechnic means we see a lot of students and teachers passing by. It’s a good community. We’ve been at this for years, and our hands show it. We don’t do much advertising. People just show up because they know we’re here. It gets hot in the summer, working in the shade of the roof, but we keep the fans going. We just like fixing things. It’s satisfying to see a car drive off sounding better than when it arrived. It’s just a simple garage doing what we know how to do. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive, but we keep the owners updated as best we can. There is always an old engine block sitting in the corner.
