Arshatheertham Ayurveda Hospital

Down in Keezhattingal, near Attingal, you’ll find Arshatheertham Ayurveda Hospital. It’s tucked away in a spot that’s easy to get to once you know the turns. The building itself is pretty simple, nothing that stands out too much from the other houses and shops around here. We spend our days mostly dealing with the usual aches and pains people bring in. Since we’re in an area like Attingal, we see a lot of familiar faces, people who have lived here their whole lives. The air around the hospital usually carries that heavy scent of boiled herbs because we prepare a lot of the mixtures ourselves right on the premises. It’s a slow process, but you can’t really rush it if you want it done right. The staff consists of people from the nearby villages, so there’s a lot of local talk in the hallways. We have a small garden out back where some plants grow, though it’s a struggle to keep them all healthy when the weather gets very dry. Inside, the rooms are basic. We have wooden beds for the massages and enough storage for all the bottles and jars we use daily. It’s a practical setup for us. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the floors, and wait for the first person to arrive.
