Aradhana Eye Hospital

Aradhana Eye Hospital is situated on Padma Vilasam Road in the Fort area of Thiruvananthapuram. This part of the city feels very different from the newer sections further out. It has got a lot of history and the roads are quite specific and narrow in places. We deal with eyes and vision all day long here. People come from all over Thiruvananthapuram because the Fort area is such a well-known landmark for everyone. The hospital is not a massive skyscraper or anything, it is just a solid building where we do our daily work. Padma Vilasam Road can get quite busy with people walking and cars trying to navigate the tight turns. We see a lot of older folks who have been living in the Fort area for many generations. They often tell us stories about how the road used to look years ago. Inside the building it is mostly quiet except for the sound of the machines and the staff calling out names. We try to keep things moving along so no one has to wait too long in the heat. The air inside is a bit cooler which everyone seems to appreciate. We are not trying to be the most modern or high-tech place in the world, just a reliable one for people's eyes. We have a small group of workers who know many patients by their names. It is a nice way to spend the day.
