Allianz Cornhill

We are over at the Kairali Building in Nalanchira. You cannot really miss us because we are right opposite the main gate of the Indian Bank. We share some space with Soju George here. Working in Thiruvanathapuram has its own rhythm, and Nalanchira is a part of town that always seems to have something going on. Being across from a bank gate means we see people queuing up all day. It is a lot of office work here at Allianz Cornhill. We sit at our desks, handle the files, and try to stay on top of everything that comes our way. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We have our small breaks where we might step out to the street just to get some air or grab a quick snack from one of the nearby stalls. It gets quite humid in Kerala, so the office can feel a bit stuffy if the windows are not open. We are not a huge team in this specific office, so we all know each other’s business pretty well. It feels like a small family most days. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital records, trying to make sure everything is where it should be. It is steady work, and we just keep at it from morning until the sun goes down and the traffic outside starts to thin out. Most of us have been here long enough to know the local shopkeepers by their names.
