It’s a bit of a way out if you’re coming from the city center, but it’s a developing area with a lot of new buildings popping up every month. Working out of a residential-style complex like Bougainvillea gives our consulting work a different vibe. It’s definitely quieter than being in a downtown high-rise or a busy IT park. We spend our time advising clients on various things, mostly sitting around a big table we bought when we first moved in. The commute can be long because of the constant construction on the main roads nearby. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick chat about what needs to get done by evening. The office is basically just a few rooms converted for work, nothing too formal. There’s a small park nearby where some of us go for a quick walk when the weather isn’t too punishing in the afternoons. We don't really do the whole corporate dress code thing; we just wear what’s comfortable and get on with the job. It’s a small team and we know each other well.
