Venus Export

If you head down Periyapalayam High Road in Melappedu, you’ll find us at 4/179. It’s a bit of a drive out to Thiruninravur, but this is where we do everything for Venus Export. The road gets pretty busy with trucks and lorries passing by all day long, so there’s always a bit of a racket outside. We spend most of our time packing boxes and checking lists. It isn’t glamorous work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The building itself is just a practical space for moving goods. There’s a small corner where we keep the computer and the files, but the rest of it is just storage and packing areas. Sometimes the heat in this part of town gets a bit much, so we keep the fans going full blast. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years, and we all just know the routine by now. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. We just focus on getting the crates out on time so they reach wherever they are supposed to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up and we stay late, but usually, we’re out of here by six. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use big words to describe it. It’s just us doing our thing on the high road. Most people just drive past without noticing, which is fine with us.
