Thiru Uzhavan Agrotech is tucked away in Porur, specifically at Flat No.9, Door No.26 on Ganga Kaveri Street. It’s in Ramakrishna Nagar. We’re more of a small team than a big company. We work out of this flat which keeps our costs down and let's us focus on the tech side of farming. It’s not what people usually think of when they hear agro, but we like it this way. We spend our days looking at how to make things better for the guys in the fields. It involves a lot of trial and error. Sometimes the stuff we try works great, and sometimes we have to start over from scratch. Ganga Kaveri Street is a quiet place which is good for thinking and getting things done. We don't have a big sign outside or anything special. Most of our work is done on laptops or visiting farm sites nearby. It’s a bit of a climb up to the flat, but the view is alright and it's home to us. We’re just a bunch of people who care about farming and wanted to do something useful for the community. It’s pretty basic here. We drink a lot of tea and talk about soil and technology. We’ve been in Porur for a while now and really like the neighbors and the local vibe. It feels good to work on something that matters to the farmers.
