Shiradi Sailaxmi Creation Private Limited is located at Unit 47 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate. This is out in Thirumazhisai, which falls under the Poonamallee area in Tiruvallur. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and small factories. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks moving nearby. Our place is basically a large shed where we handle our creations. It can get quite dusty and hot under the metal roof during the summer months. We have a small section partitioned off for the office work, but most of the action happens on the main floor. We are not big on decorations; we just have our equipment and the materials we need. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving crates around, and the floor has seen better days. We get to work early to beat the heat and stay until the day's quota is finished. Most of our staff are local people from around Thirumazhisai or Poonamallee. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make things and send them out. It is a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the production line. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them ourselves. That is just part of life in an industrial zone like 600124. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the orders.
