If you’re walking down Devi Karumariamman Street in Karthikeyan Nagar, you’ll find us at number 178. New Shalom Builders Llp is just a small setup where we handle local construction work. It’s a busy little street and sometimes parking is a real nightmare, but it’s home for us. We started this because we knew the area well and saw that people needed someone reliable to help with their building projects. We don't have a giant team or anything like that, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and the paperwork. Most of our days are spent checking on different sites or talking to suppliers about when the sand and cement are going to show up. It’s not a glamorous job, and often we end the day covered in dust, but it’s what we know. We try to keep things simple. If someone asks for a job, we tell them how long it will take and what it will cost without any extra fluff. It’s a bit cramped in the office sometimes with all the drawings and samples lying around, but it works for us. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It feels good to see a house go up that wasn't there before. We just keep plugging away, doing the work that needs doing without making a big fuss about it. The local tea shop owner knows us all by name now.
