Fivx Imports And Exports Private Limited is based over at No. 48, 3rd Street in Rukmani Nagar, which is in the Maduravoyal part of Chennai. Maduravoyal has been growing a lot lately, so there is always some construction or new activity happening near us. Our office on 3rd Street is a simple place where we handle all the logistics for our import and export deals. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people on the phone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we enjoy the challenge of getting things from one place to another. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the city center, which we actually prefer. We have a small team and we all pitch in to do whatever needs doing, whether it’s filing papers or checking on cargo. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we are used to that. We don't have any corporate slogans or big fancy missions, we just focus on the work that is in front of us. Most of our days involve a lot of tracking numbers and making sure the customs paperwork is all in order. Rukmani Nagar is a good community and we’ve made some good friends among the other business owners nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the work as best as we can.
