BALAVISH EXPORTS AND IMPORTS PRIVATE LIMITED

We've been operating out of Pattabiram for a while now, right near Sri Balaji Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Chennai and we handle a lot of different goods coming and going. My desk is usually covered in papers because shipping things across borders involves a lot of back and forth. People often ask what exactly we do, and honestly, it changes depending on the day and what our clients need moved. We deal with both exports and imports, which means dealing with customs and all those logistics that take up so much time. It's not always smooth sailing. Sometimes containers get delayed or paperwork gets stuck, but that is just part of the job here at Balavish. Most of our work happens right from this office in the 205A building. We aren't a huge team, but we stay busy. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it's quiet enough to get things done, though the traffic on the way in can be a real headache sometimes. We try to keep things simple and just get the crates where they need to go. It isn't glamorous work. You spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure things arrived at the port. We've stayed in this part of Chennai because it works for us. If you ever find yourself near Pattabiram, you might see our small sign. We just keep our heads down and keep the goods moving. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the shipping lines and the various regulations, but we just take it one day at a time.
