Anto Seafood Private Limited is tucked away at NO 26 Kailash Sector 2nd Street in Kaladipet. If you come by early in the morning, you’ll see us getting things ready. The seafood business is all about timing. You can’t afford to be late or lazy. We spend a lot of time dealing with ice and crates. It’s cold and wet work most of the time. Our hands are usually cold but we’re used to it. The street is usually pretty busy with people going to work. We have a small crew here. Everyone has their own job to do, whether it’s checking the quality or making sure the bins are clean. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace. We’ve been in Kaladipet for a while and we know the other business owners on the street. Sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon when things quiet down. Anto Seafood Private Limited isn’t a huge corporation. We are just a local group of people who know a lot about fish. It’s a tough business because things change every day depending on what comes in. We just try to keep up and stay organized. Sometimes the smell is a bit much for people who aren't used to it, but to us, it just smells like a workday. We keep it simple and just do what needs doing.
