Annak Kannu Private Limited is situated at 16/8A on the Avadi Redhills Road in Ambattur. If you know Chennai, you know how busy the roads can get around here. There is a constant sound of trucks and buses passing by our front door. It is an industrial area, so the air is always thick with the smell of nearby factories and the heat from the asphalt. Our building is a simple structure with a heavy gate. Inside, we have our setup where we manage the daily operations. It gets quite loud during the day, so we have to speak up to be heard over the traffic noise outside. We have a small team of workers who have been with us through thick and thin. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, just some big pedestal fans that push the warm air around. We mostly deal with local orders and people who drop in from the neighborhood. There is a small shop nearby where we get our tiffin from. The workspace is usually crowded with materials and some finished sets waiting to be picked up by the customers. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. We are just a bunch of regular people trying to run a business in a very busy city like Chennai. Every day brings a new set of challenges with the traffic and the heat, but we keep at it.
