Surabhi Soft Beverages

We’ve been here in Muthoor for a good while now, right near the Bhadrakali temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our front door when things quiet down in the evening. Our place is basically just down the road from the post office in Thiruvalla, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us if they’re coming from that way. It gets quite hot around here, especially in the afternoons, so keeping things cool is what we do most of the day. We spend a lot of time loading crates and making sure everything is stacked right so nothing breaks. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late. The shop itself isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need. Sometimes the rain gets pretty heavy and we have to move stuff away from the entrance, but that’s just how it goes in this part of Kerala. Most of the people who stop by are locals who’ve known us for years. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name and the bottles. My cousin helps out when he can, and we just try to get the orders sorted before the sun goes down. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going near the temple, and we like it that way because it is home for us. There is always a lot of cleaning to do, but that is part of the routine.
