Scriptue Union

If you head toward Deeba Junction and look near Kalyan Jewelers, you’ll find us. We use Post Box-5 for our mail, but the physical spot is where the real work happens. Scriptue Union is a small operation, mostly run by people who have been involved for a long time. The office is usually humming with some kind of activity, whether it’s sorting through mail or planning for a local event. It’s not a modern office by any means. We have old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. Being near the junction means there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the street. We get all sorts of people walking in just to ask a question or see what we’re up to. We don't have a big budget for things, so we make do with what we have. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of coffee, and that’s about as dramatic as it gets around here. We aren't looking to expand into some giant organization. We just want to be a steady presence in this neighborhood. Everyone knows where we are, and we like that familiarity. It’s about being there for the people who stop by and keeping the daily tasks moving along. It’s a modest way to spend the day, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It feels like we are part of the local fabric.
