Down in Mundukottal, Kunnamthanam, we have our setup for Jm Food Products. It is a quiet enough place compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. We have been working from this location for a while, dealing with various food items that we process here. The building isn't anything much to look at from the outside, but inside we stay quite busy throughout the week. Most of our staff are from the local area, so we all know each other pretty well and things run smoothly because of that. We don't have a lot of formal meetings; we just talk while we work and get things done. The humidity in Kunnamthanam can be a lot sometimes, but we’ve got our routine down to keep things moving. We don't spend money on big ads because word of mouth usually does the job for us around here. Our daily work involves a lot of checking on the machines and making sure the packaging is done right before anything leaves the doors. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and keeping an eye on the small details. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, we just want to keep the local folks satisfied with what we send out. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine or a delivery is late, and we just fix it and move on. It is just a regular food business in a small town.
