Govt. Hospital

Located in Cochin, specifically in the Kanjiramattom area, our hospital is near Ezhumayil House. This part of Kanjiramattom is quite green, and the air feels a bit different than the city center. The hospital itself is a simple structure. We deal with a lot of people from the nearby houses and villages. It’s a local government spot where people come for their basic health needs. We have a routine that hasn't changed in years. The mornings are for the outpatients, and the afternoons are for cleaning and organizing the files. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a place that’s part of the neighborhood. The waiting area is usually full of people talking in quiet voices. We see a lot of children and older people who have lived in Cochin their whole lives. The humidity here can be quite high, so the hospital can feel a bit heavy sometimes. We just keep the windows open and the fans going. Our work isn't anything special; we just do what a hospital is supposed to do. There is no corporate talk here, just the daily reality of helping people get their medicine or see a doctor. It’s a bit worn out in places, but it serves the community well enough. We are just here doing our bit every day in Kanjiramattom. Sometimes the rain makes it hard for people to get here, but the hospital stays open regardless for those who can make the trip.
