Evergreen Block

You can find us on the Changanassery Kaviyoor Road, right in Kaviyoor. It’s a nice stretch of road, though it can get a bit muddy when the monsoon hits. Evergreen Block has been sitting here for quite a while. We have a decent-sized lot where we keep all the blocks stacked up. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, so everyone here is pretty tired by the end of the day. The office is just a small room at the edge of the property. It’s got a wooden desk that’s seen better days and a few plastic chairs for visitors. We spend most of our time outside anyway. Kaviyoor is a good place to be based. The air is a bit fresher than in the middle of a big city. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big sales team. It’s just a couple of us managing the orders and making sure the blocks get to where they need to go. Sometimes the truck drivers stay for a chat and a cup of tea. We like it that way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. The sign out front is made of wood and we painted it ourselves a few years back. It’s started to fade, but you can still read the name well enough. It’s a simple life here on the road.
