Our business is located at No. 218 on Veeravadi Salai Street. It’s a straightforward place, right on the main road really. We handle different kinds of exports from this small office. Most days, you will see a couple of us sitting at the desks or moving boxes around near the entrance. The street outside is always active with people going to work or heading to the shops. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that; you just walk right in. The main thing we do is organize the logistics and make sure the goods are prepared correctly for the journey. It takes a lot of patience to get everything right, especially with all the export rules. We use a lot of tape and cardboard, and the floor is usually covered in packing materials by noon. We try to keep it tidy but when it gets busy, things just pile up. It is just a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to carrying the loads. The building stays a bit cool even in the summer, which is nice for working. We don't spend money on big signs or decorations. We just want to make sure the containers are filled and sent off on time. It’s a simple life and we like the neighborhood. We focus on the everyday work and try to keep things moving along smoothly.
