Meenas & Co

Down here in Madurai, things move at their own pace. Meenas & Co is located at No: 5/518 in Vivekananda Nagar, which is tucked inside the Thiruvalluvar Nagar area. Most people around here just call it Thirunagar. We share the neighborhood with a lot of families and small shops. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we sort through the paperwork. Padi is a bit of a trek, but we manage. If you're walking around, you might see the Highlights Info Row Image sign nearby. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and some chairs where we sit and figure out the accounts. We've been in this spot for some time now. You'll often hear the sounds of the street outside—scooters buzzing by and people talking loudly near the tea stalls. We start pretty early most days before the sun gets too high. It's a local operation, and we like it that way because we know the people around us. We don't really do the corporate thing with suits and big meetings. It's mostly just us handling what needs to be handled and making sure the orders are right. If the door is open, it means one of us is inside probably drinking a coffee and looking at a ledger. We stay busy enough without needing to be fancy.
