Navamithra & Co.

Navamithra & Co. is over at number 25 in Thenkarai. It’s a small building on a street that gets pretty busy during the market hours. We’ve been here for a good while. The paint on the front is a bit chipped, but we don't think people mind that much. We spend most of our time organizing things and talking to the people who drop by. It’s not a very formal place. You might see a stack of newspapers on the counter or some boxes waiting to be unpacked. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on what’s right in front of us. If someone needs something, we try to help them find it. Thenkarai is a nice enough place to be. We have neighbors who have been here as long as we have. Sometimes we stand out front and watch the traffic go by when there’s a lull in work. It’s a lot of work keeping everything going, especially during the hot months. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a few fans that hum all day and move the hot air around. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but we’re still basically the same as when we started. Just a few people working together in a small office at 25. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s our place and we’re here every day. We just take the days as they come and try to get everything finished before we lock up.
