Thenmax India is based out of the Sidco Industrial Estate on Madurai Road. We are at No. 23. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always a bit noisy and there’s a lot of smoke and dust in the air from all the factories nearby. It’s a tough environment but it suits the kind of work we do. Our unit is basically a large hall where we store our supplies and handle the daily grind. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a person sitting at a front desk waiting to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working on something in the back. The heat in Madurai can be really something else, especially in the middle of the day, so we have a couple of old fans that struggle to keep the place cool. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. The trucks coming in and out, the sound of metal hitting metal, it’s all part of the day. We aren't trying to be some huge international firm; we are just a local operation trying to keep things moving. We handle our orders, talk to our suppliers, and make sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s hard work and it isn't always pretty, but it’s what we do. We just keep going until the work is finished for the day. There is no point in pretending we are something we are not.
