You can find us at 168 W/3 West Street in Jayamangalam. It's right in the Periyakulam area of Theni. Theni Sreeneethiarasu Chits Fund Private Limited has its roots here. It’s a rural spot, very green around. Our office is just a simple building on the street. We deal with the chit funds for the villagers and people who live nearby. It's a small-scale operation. We don't have a lot of staff, maybe just three or four of us on a good day. Most of the work involves writing in big books and talking to people who come by. We know whose daughter is getting married or who is buying a new tractor. That’s how it is here. Theni is a quiet place compared to the cities. We take our time with things. There’s no rush. If someone is late with a payment, they usually come by and explain why. We understand because we live here too. The office has some old chairs and a big wooden desk where the main work happens. We keep the door open to let the breeze in. It gets quite warm in the afternoon. We don’t use any fancy marketing. People know us through word of mouth. It's a simple life and a simple business. We just make sure the chits are managed properly so everyone gets their turn. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the month.
