Suganivas Clinic

Out here on Kallikudi Road, things are pretty straightforward. Suganivas Clinic is situated right near the Primary Health Centre in Peraiyur. If you know the area, you know it’s a spot where people are always moving through. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It is just a clinic that’s been part of the landscape for a bit. The building is simple. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the daily flow of folks coming in from the surrounding villages. Some people come by because they saw the sign while heading to the PHC. It’s dusty outside most days and the road noise stays with us until evening. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have some benches for people to sit on while they wait. There isn't any fancy decor or big reception desks. Just a desk and some chairs and the usual medical smells. Life in Peraiyur moves at its own speed. Sometimes we have a lot of people waiting at once, and other times it’s just one or two people sitting and chatting while they wait for their turn. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays organized enough to work. It’s a practical setup for a practical town. We see the same faces quite a bit, which is nice. It makes the days go by faster when you know who’s walking through the door.
