Srinivas Clinic

Srinivas Clinic is on Madurai Road in T. Kallupatti. It is a spot that sits right on the main road, so there are always buses and big lorries passing by heading toward Madurai city. T. Kallupatti is a small enough place that most people know where the main road clinics are located. We are just one of the buildings you see as you drive through the town. The clinic is a basic setup where we see local people and maybe some people from the nearby villages who travel in. It gets quite dusty sometimes because of all the heavy traffic on Madurai Road, but that is just part of living and working here. We open up early because people in T. Kallupatti tend to start their day with the sun. The clinic doesn't have any flashy stuff or high-end furniture. It is just a room and some chairs and the space where we do our work. We see a lot of the same people over and over again. It feels like a small community here. You can hear the sounds of the road all day long while we are working inside. Sometimes someone stops by just because they saw the sign while they were traveling to another town. It is an honest place. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just stay at our spot on Madurai Road and help whoever comes in through the door.
