K.Anand and the rest of us spend most of our days looking at logistics paperwork or dealing with the mineral side of the business. There is no fancy office here, just desks and some chairs where we try to keep the schedules straight. Sometimes the weather in Tamil Nadu makes things slow down, especially when it rains hard, but we just wait it out and get back to it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a handful of us making sure the minerals get to where they need to go without too much trouble. Usually, someone is always around to answer the phone if it isn't too late. People know us in the village as the place with the big trucks. We’ve seen the roads change over the years, but the work stays about the same. It is honest work and it keeps everyone busy from morning till the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down.
