Unnikrishna Farm

Life at Unnikrishna Farm is pretty straightforward. We are located right near the bus stop in Mathilil, so we hear the buses coming and going all day long. It's a busy little spot, but we like it that way. Mostly, we spend our time out in the dirt, dealing with whatever the season brings. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We don’t have fancy machines or a big office. Just a small place at 6D where we keep our tools and take our meals. Some days are better than others, especially when the rain comes at the right time. We get a lot of locals stopping by after they get off the bus to see what’s going on. We don't have a big sign or a shiny website. People just know us because we’ve been here at this spot for a long time. Sometimes the fence needs fixing or the tractor acts up, and that takes up most of our afternoon. We just do what needs doing. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real. Mathilil is a quiet enough place once the sun sets, and that’s when we finally sit down. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a farm near the bus stop, doing our thing day after day. It keeps us fed and keeps us honest, and that’s plenty for us. There is always something to do tomorrow, so we don't worry too much.
