Up here in Udhagamandalam, or Ooty as most people call it, things move a bit slower. Ooty Hospital Private Limited is located at 262 G1 Sisi Illam on St Thomas Church Road. It’s a beautiful spot, especially when the mist rolls in over the hills in the morning. Being in the Nilgiris means the air is always a bit chilly, so we usually have a sweater on while we work. The hospital building sits on the road leading toward the old church, so it’s a familiar landmark for the locals. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s just a local place where we handle whatever comes through the doors. The floors are plain, and the walls have that typical hospital smell. We spend our days dealing with patients who live in the hills and some tourists who get a bit sick from the altitude or the cold. It’s a lot of walking up and down the halls and keeping things organized. Sometimes the monkeys outside make a bit of a mess, but that’s just life in Ooty. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood is quiet for the most part. It’s just a regular hospital doing regular work. We don't try to be anything fancy. We just keep the lights on and help the people who walk in from St Thomas Church Road. There is always someone needing help, and we just do our best to stay on top of the charts.
