Ooty Agro Exports Llp is based up in the Nilgiris. Our office is at 10/220 in Anna Nagar, which is in the Burnside Estate area of Konavakorai, Kotagiri Taluk. It’s a beautiful place to work, surrounded by the hills and all the greenery. Since we deal with agro-exports, it makes sense for us to be right here where the produce is grown. We aren't a big, fancy company. We’re just a small team that works with local farmers to get their products out to other markets. The weather can be a challenge sometimes, especially when it rains a lot and the mountain roads get difficult. Our office is just a simple, practical space where we manage the logistics and keep track of the orders. We don’t have any polished marketing materials or a corporate mission statement. We just know the land and we know the trade. It’s a very hands-on job, and we spend a lot of time checking on the quality of the goods we’re shipping. We’ve been here for a while now and we’re proud to be part of the community in the Nilgiris. It’s a lot of work to coordinate everything, but we enjoy being close to the source. We just take things one day at a time and do our best to keep things moving smoothly. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us very active.
