Dealer

We are way out in Kinnakorai Village, which is high up in the Nilgiris. To get to us, you have to drive through some winding roads and pass a lot of tea gardens. It is a beautiful part of the country, but it is also very quiet. Our address is just Kinnakorai Post, and everyone here knows where we are. We operate as a dealer for things that people in this area need. It is a very simple life compared to the cities. We don't have high-speed internet all the time or fancy office furniture. We mostly have a wooden desk and a few chairs for when locals come in to chat. The air is cold and fresh up here, so we usually wear sweaters while we work. Our days are tied to the weather and the local harvest cycles. We aren't trying to be a massive corporation. We just want to provide what we can to our village and the surrounding areas. Sometimes it takes a long time for supplies to reach us from the bigger towns, so we have to plan way ahead. We know our customers by their first names and often know their families too. It is a small community where your reputation matters more than your business card. We are just here doing our bit in the hills of Tamil Nadu. It can be a bit lonely when the mist rolls in, but we like the peace.
