R.T.G Arts & Science Women'S College

If you head out to Pinnanur Village in the Villupuram area, that is where R.T.G Arts & Science Women's College is situated. It is quite a peaceful spot compared to the bigger towns. Most of the women who study here come from the local villages nearby, often taking the bus or walking in. The college grounds are simple, with plenty of open space and trees. We have the usual setup with classrooms for arts subjects and labs for the science side of things. It’s not a very loud place, mostly just the sound of lectures or girls talking during their breaks. The weather in this part of Tamil Nadu gets quite hot, so the shade on campus is a popular spot during the afternoons. Our daily routine starts early when the gates open and the first groups arrive. There is no big corporate feel here; it is just a local college doing its thing for the community. You see people carrying their books and bags, heading to the library or getting ready for their afternoon sessions. The buildings are plain but they get the job done. It feels like a very grounded place to be. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name on the wall and the daily bustle of a school. It’s a regular part of life for many families in this district who send their daughters here to get an education close to their homes.
