Shri Laxmi Cement Pipe Factory

Our factory, Shri Laxmi Cement Pipe Factory, sits right on the Main Road in Sevalia Bazaar. Being in the Kheda district, we get a lot of local weather that affects how we work. When it rains, things slow down a bit because the cement takes longer to dry. The bazaar is a busy place, so there’s always something happening nearby. We have our yard where we keep the finished pipes stacked up. They are heavy things, so we use a lot of muscle and some basic machinery to move them around. It’s a straightforward life here. We wake up, get the water and cement ready, and start the day's production. Some days are harder than others, especially when we have a big order to finish and the sun is beating down on us. We don’t really have any fancy gadgets. It’s just about the molds and the concrete. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. We talk about the local news while we work. It’s a bit of a messy job with the wet cement splashing around, but it’s what we do. We like the fact that we’re right on the main road because it makes it easy for the tractors to pull in and load up. It’s just a regular local factory doing its bit every day.
