Arbuda Fly Ash Bricks

Our brickyard sits right on the Deesa-Dhanera Highway Road in Vajegadh Village. We’re directly across from the Sunflower Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re driving through Tharad Taluka looking for us. Being on the highway means we get a lot of trucks passing by and plenty of dust from the road. We focus on making fly ash bricks here in the Banas Kantha District. It’s a big open space where we mix the ash and press the bricks into shape. The sun can be really intense out here in the open, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning before it peaks. We’ve got a small group of workers from the local village who help out with everything. It’s not a fancy business with an office or a secretary; we usually just meet people right there in the yard. We don't have time for marketing or big speeches, we just show people the bricks we have ready to go. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of life for all of us. We see a lot of people traveling the highway who stop in to ask about prices or delivery for their construction projects. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but some days are just slower than others. It’s a solid job for us.
