Our shop is right in the Aaa Complex, which is basically a stone's throw from the main bus stand in Pattukkottai. Being that close to the buses means it is never quiet. You can hear the horns and the people shouting all day long. We have been in this spot for a while now, mostly working on various design jobs that local people need. It’s a simple setup. We have a couple of workstations and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. Often, someone will just walk in from the bus station because they saw our sign. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting everyone. Usually, one of us just looks up from the screen and says hello. The space isn't huge, but we make it work. Sometimes the rain makes the walk from the bus stand a bit messy, but most folks don't mind. We just focus on getting the layouts right and making sure the colors look okay on the screen before we send anything off. It is steady work. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the town and the way the market picks up in the evenings. There’s no big secret to how we run things; we just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s been that way for years now, and we don't see that changing anytime soon in this little corner of the world.
